The Orpheus Daughters – charity tour in Switzerland

Nadka Karadjova and the others are the soloists of the group – the inheritors of the Mystery of Bulgarian Voices.
On a month charity tour in Switzerland under the motto `The Great voices of Bulgaria` on April 15 will leave the group for folklore songs and church singing `The Orpheus’ Daughters`, that was announced by Teodora Kaleinska, the director of the `Open Door` Resources Center, the coo-arranger of the event. The famous artists for folklore songs Nadka Karadjova and her daughter Svetla Karadjova and also the singers Liliana Galevska and Hristina Liutova are the soloists of the group, which is the inheritor of the `Mystery of Bulgarian Voices`, founded in 1971 by Zdravko Mihailov - the conductor. They have been planned so far concerts in 25 Swiss towns till may 18, which was organized by the initiation of Bernar Beshara, a volunteer form Switzerland, worked for the Resources Center in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. The plan is about 30 % of the income from the concerts and the selling of CD with Bulgarian music to be donated for urgent repairs at the building of the ex Pioneers House, where the center is situated. The `Open Door` center in Veliko Tarnovo was created as a project of The European Union with donations from non-governmental organizations in USA, Holland, Switzerland and as well with charity campaigns in Bulgaria. In the center it is provided a special support to women and children under risk, they are implemented free consultant, health and law services for unemployed youths and socially poor citizens.
