WELCOME TO MACEDONIA
The next Macedonian Pearl Folk Seminar of traditional Macedonian folk dances and instruments - WINTER SEMINAR - will be held at the Hotel Ambasador in Skopje, Macedonia in 13-21 January 2013. Seminar will start with accommodation in afternoon on 13th and will finish on January 22nd after the breakfast.

The idea for the organization of “World folk stars” festival is that it is a kind of final of the many festivals of IGF held through the year. So the most appropriate time is about September as summer festivals are over. Bulgaria chose 21st, 22nd, 23rd of September as 22nd is a public holiday...

Folk Dance Club "Mera Dance" from Sofia, won the grand prize at the National Folk Festival "Nevrokop playing, singing and dancing". In second place was the folk dance club "Nevrokopski vihar" of Gotse Delchev - Bulgaria.

The Festival in Lefkada 2012

We recently returned from the island of Lefkada where Ensemble Zornitsa was one of the twenty-four guest ensembles at the 50th edition of the international folklore festival. The jubilee made the festival different – this year participants were the best groups which performed on the festival stages through the years.

Във фестивала ще вземат участие фолклорни ансамбли от Италия, Турция, Украйна, Мексико, Сърбия, Индонезия, Гърция, Палестина и 8 ансамбъла от България.

In the anniversary edition of the festival will be attended by a record number of artists - 49 ensembles from 12 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Georgia, Armenia, Hungary, Belarus, Latvia and of course - Bulgaria. |
